Electrobraid is an easily installed, permanent electric fence designed to fence your animals safely and securely. It is strong and durable.... and very affordable. Electrobraid costs about $1.25 Cdn. (or $.83 US) per foot for a 4-strand fence, not including posts. With Electrobraid, posts can be spaced 50 or more feet apart, saving labor and materials. Includes a 25-year warranty against rust, rot, UV, weathering or breakage under conditions of normal use.

Electrobraid is an attractive, highly visible, pure white braid that is super strong, yet feels like silk and is lightweight and easy to handle. Electrobraid's outer braided jacket is made of the highest grade of polyester fiber that meets the rigorous standards of strength and drability established for seat belts and parachute harnesses. This fiber is dimensionally stable -- if stretched, it springs back to its original length. Just like a boxing ring, it absorbs force and springs back.

The copper conductor wires cross three times per inch in a double helix configuration to ensure better conductivity over a greater distance. Copper is the third best conductor next to silver and gold. Electrobraid has 1/70th the electrical resistance of standard 1/2 inch horse tape and will carry an electric shock 70 times farther. One or more strands of Electrocbraid can also be used to keep horses off existing board or rail fences, or for rotational grazing.

Electrobraid is now available in black, to blend in better with your existing board or rail fences. In addition, insulators and corner insulators are now available in white, to blend in better if you wish to run Electrobraid inside white vinyl fencing.

Horses love Electrobraid fences! They can see each other clearly, and stallions can watch their mares. They no longer run the fence lines, and they can see that there are no predators. Even with several different paddocks fenced off, they feel as if they are still in a large herd together.

Electrobraid is safe and worry-free. One time when we were away on holidays, one of our mares got pushed by the other mares through the 4-strand Electrobraid fence near a corner where two Electrobraid fences were crossing. When we got home, she was in the neighboring paddock, but, other than a couple of superficial rope burns across her chest that healed with no treatment at all, the mare was unharmed. Can you imagine what she would have looked like if that had been a high-tensile or barbed wire fence? And, on top of that, there were no repairs to be made to the fence other than to replace five insulators for a total of about $1.00!
